2012-08-03 – The moon in 49 megapixels, DSLR prime focus, first light

Equipment used:
* Canon T2i / 550D at prime focus + 2x Barlow
* Zhumell Z10 10″ Dobsonian reflector telescope

I finally found the right configuration points to be able to use my Canon T2i DSLR at prime focus with a T-adapter on my 10″ Dobsonian. The fruit from first light for this new setup is a 49-megapixel (7000 pixel wide) mosaic of the moon.
